課程目標：
(1)人因工程旨在發現關於人類的行為、能力、限制和其他特性等知識,而應用於工具、機器、系統、任務、工作和環境等的設計,使人類對於它們的使用能更具生產力、安全、舒適與有效果
(2)人因工程在瞭解系統中，人及其它組件間的交互作用的學科；也是在設計時應用理論性原則，數據及方法，以增進人類福祉及系統表現的專業。「人因工程」這學科，係探討關於人類的行為、能力、限制和其他特性等知識，而應用於工具、機器、系統、任務、工作和環境等的設計，使人類對於它們的使用能更具生產力、安全、舒適與有效果。是近年來各大學工程科系學生選/必修之課程。
(3)讓受課同學瞭解人因工程意涵與基本學理，並能學以致用，改善生活或工作環境及器具，以達到安全、舒適、效率的目的。Course Target:
(1) Human Care Engineering aims to discover knowledge about human behavior, capabilities, limitations and other characteristics, and applies to tools, machines, systems, tasks, work and environment designs, making humans more productive, safe, comfortable and effective in their use, safer, comfortable and effective in their use.
(2) Human Cause Engineering is a subject that understands the interaction between humans and other components in the system; it is also a major in the design to apply theoretical principles, data and methods to enhance human welfare and system performance. The subject of "Human Cause Engineering" explores knowledge about human behavior, capabilities, limitations and other characteristics, and applies to tools, machines, systems, tasks, work and environments, making humans more productive, safe, comfortable and effective in their use. It is a course that students from engineering departments in various universities have selected/compulsory courses in recent years.
(3) Let the students in the class understand the concept of human-caused engineering and basic science, and be able to apply it to improve the living or working environment and equipment, so as to achieve the purpose of safety, comfort and efficiency.
