本課程將建立學生經濟學的基本概念、思考方式與分析方法。主要目的在於讓學生瞭解經濟學如何以系統性的方式分析個人、廠商、政府的決策行為與市場運作。培養學生做決策時，具成本效益的分析能力，以及學習運用經濟學的分析方式瞭解經濟社會上各種問題的本質與其涉及層面。經濟學分成個體經濟學與總體經濟學兩部份。個體經濟學於上學期介紹，下學期課程重點為總體經濟學。本學期課程內容包含: 總體經濟學概論、國民所得的意義與衡量、貨幣與金融市場、財政政策與貨幣政策、總和供需分析、失業與物價膨脹、經濟成長、貿易與匯率等。

This course will establish basic concepts, ways of thinking and analysis methods for students' economics. The main purpose is to let students understand how economics analyze individuals, manufacturers, and government decision-making behaviors and market operations in a systematic way. Cultivate students to make decisions, have cost-effective analytical skills, and learn to use economic analysis methods to understand the nature and aspects of various issues in the economic society. Economics is divided into two parts: individual economics and overall economics. Individual economics is introduced in the first period, while the next period focuses on overall economics. The courses of this course include: general economic overview, meaning and measurement of national income, currency and financial markets, financial policy and currency policies, aggregate supply and demand analysis, unemployment and price inflation, economic growth, trade and exchange rate, etc.
