The goal of this course is to enable students to have the ability to judge various tissues in animals, including the distribution location, structural type and various physiological functions of the tissues. It will be useful for students in the future. Taking advanced courses related to animal tissues or applying them in research provides essential basic knowledge.
This course also has the following goals for the development of the biomedical industry:
1. Extend histology courses to cultivate biocompatibility professionals

動物組織學是一門研究動物體結構的科學, 主要借重組織切片的方法在光學或電子顯微鏡下呈現,, 從不同分化的細胞到組織型態以及相關的器官功能做一系列的學習. 許多醫學或生命科學研究探討以及疾病診斷都必須以組織結構為研究目標, 因此本課程對於學生在未來修習與動物組織相關進階課程或是個體生物研究上的應用很有幫助.
Animal histology is a science that studies the structure of the animal body. It mainly relies on the method of tissue sectioning to present it under a light or electron microscope, and conducts a series of studies from different differentiated cells to tissue types and related organ functions. Many medical or Life science research and disease diagnosis must take tissue structure as the research goal. Therefore, this course is very helpful for students to take advanced courses related to animal tissues or apply them in individual biological research in the future.
