本課程目標在於,吾人從宋明理學的內聖之學,心性之學講起,以船山為歸結,最後談船山的俟解一書,使學生能有基本的道德思考,蓋因為船山為宋明理學的殿軍,道德感極強,故對於經書的詮釋,也是以道德為主,其本著張子之學,易為君子謀,不為小人謀,故船山教人不是要人趨吉避凶;然吾人所談者不只是船山學,包括心學理學氣學,心學的部分,例如王陽明,王龍溪,羅近溪,這是陽明去世後的學派之區別,近溪屬江右王學,其學宗自然,以破光影為主,孝弟慈等思惟The goal of this course is to start with the study of the inner sage and the study of mind in Neo-Confucianism of the Song and Ming dynasties, and conclude with Chuanshan, and finally talk about Chuanshan’s Qijie, so that students can have basic moral thinking, because Chuanshan is the founder of the Song Dynasty. The leader of Neo-Confucianism in the Ming Dynasty had a strong sense of morality, so his interpretation of the classics was also based on morality. It was based on the learning of Zhang Zi and Yi Wei A gentleman's plan is not for a villain's plan, so Chuanshan's teachings are not to teach people to seek good fortune and avoid misfortune; however, what we are talking about is not just Chuanshan theory, but also includes psychology, qi science, and mind science, such as Wang Yangming, Wang Longxi, Luo Jinxi, this is the difference between the schools after the death of Yangming. Jinxi belongs to Jiangyou Wang School, and its school of thought is natural, focusing on breaking light and shadow, filial piety and kindness to brothers and other thoughts
