課程概述 Course Description

Business English: Fundamentals 2 is the continuation of Business English: Fundamentals and finishes a broad introduction to the core knowledge, skills, and abilities that are part of the modern corporate environment. Topics covered in this course include: mergers and acquisitions, product markets, demographic trends, supply chain management, risk management, and intellectual property. Parent companies, subsidiaries, and their suppliers are often scattered around the globe in different countries and cultures. This globalization has led to international business communication being commonly conducted in the English language. This course is the second part of a two-part course series for students who may need to apply their English language skills in a business that uses English as part of its day-to-day operations or to communicate with foreign partners. Class assignments and discussions are enhanced with inquiry into corresponding real-world issues. This course will be taught entirely in English with an instructor who has spent more than 12 years in the American business community. Students are required to have the textbook for this course, which is the same book used in Business English: Fundamentals.
