本課程的教學目在使修習者能鑒賞、講論、進而研究「詩聖」杜甫各體詩歌作品。杜甫不但是盛唐時期最具有代表性的詩人，也在中國文學史上擁有崇高地位，其詩歌創作在中國傳統文學的領域中具備典型意義。本課程不僅期望修習者能夠在中國詩歌領域獲得初步的學術研究訓練，也期望修習本課程者能夠成為知、情、意和諧完整的現代知識青年。

The teaching purpose of this course is to enable practitioners to appreciate, discuss, and then study the various poetry works of "Poetry Saint" Du Fu. Du Fu was not only the most representative poet in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, but also held a high status in the history of Chinese literature. His poetry creations are of typical significance in the field of traditional Chinese literature. This course not only hopes that the students can obtain preliminary academic research training in the field of Chinese poetry, but also hopes that the students of this course can become modern intellectual youths who are harmonious and complete in knowledge, emotion and intention.
