Discussions about modern architecture have long been centered around Europe and the United States. From this point of view, other countries have relatively become areas that have received the baptism of modern architecture, and naturally, they have been It is regarded as a marginal zone in the development process of modern architecture. Modern civilization, which started with the scientific revolution and shaped the current lifestyle through the power of technology and capital, originated in Western Europe. However, in recent years, when the shortcomings of modern civilization have gradually emerged and begun to be criticized, the modern civilization has gradually emerged and has begun to be criticized. Reflection on architecture has also begun to allow us to change from a unidimensional perspective to a pluralistic perspective, and at the same time see the development process of modern architecture in various cultures. It is from this multicultural perspective that Asian architecture and cities have gradually attracted the attention of the world. , in recent years, with the improvement of Asia's economic power, the rise of modern architecture in Japan and China further illustrates this phenomenon.
Facing the development process of modern architecture and cities in Asia, this course will divide the spatial fields covering Asia into different units.
