從義大利、英國、美國、西班牙的聲樂曲發展史探討,再從巴洛克早期的作曲家到近代的藝術歌曲作曲家之生平、風格及時代影響研究,進而從文學對於藝術歌曲的重要性,歌曲和聲與結構的分析,將上述的研究來豐富藝術歌曲演唱詮釋的能力。作業包括作曲家研究報告、CD報告、音樂會心得報告等,課堂上口頭報告、演唱、分析等。期中、期末舉行藝術歌曲發表會。
