This special study focuses on the key evolution of European and American international politics; starting from the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648), when Germany and France competed for European leadership, and ending with the failure of European coordination diplomacy before and after the Congress of Vienna (1815). The balance of power was destroyed. Before and after the two world wars, the top powers of Britain, France and Germany declined, and the power of the United States came to the fore. The status of Europe and the United States changed significantly. After the collapse of the Soviet Union in the 1990s, the United States overran Russia and other powers and dominated the world.
