一般而言，我們所習得的政治思想，都是由西方引入的概念，比方說像是自由、民主、獨裁、專制等。但我們知道，中國是一個歷史淵源流長的國家，而先秦諸子的政治思想是非常珍貴的歷史遺產且值得我們深掘。本課程的目的就是希望透過先秦諸子的原典，讓同學重新了解先秦的政治思想，進一步希望透過這些原典可以產生新的火花與想像，借以充實同學們對政治思想的理解。Generally speaking, the political ideas we have learned are concepts introduced from the West, such as freedom, democracy, dictatorship, autocracy, etc. But we know that China is a country with a long history, and the political thoughts of the pre-Qin philosophers are very precious historical heritage and worthy of our exploration. The purpose of this course is to allow students to re-understand the political thoughts of the Pre-Qin Dynasty through the original texts of the pre-Qin scholars. It is further hoped that these original texts can generate new sparks and imaginations, thereby enriching students' understanding of political thoughts.
