為使修習者熟習線性模型之理論與應用技巧,以強化使用線性模型方法如迴歸分析與實驗設計之能力。
預計講授內容包括下列話題﹕
(1). Review of linear algebra.
(2). Review of probability and statistics.
(3). Multivariate normal distribution.
(4). Distributions of quadratic forms.
(5). General linear model.
(6). Applications of the regression model.
(7). Other topics in fitting linear models.In order to familiarize practitioners with the theory and application skills of linear models, and to strengthen the ability to use linear model methods such as regression analysis and experimental design.

為能使學生由線性代數與矩陣代數出發,習得統計主要應用線性模型,即迴歸分析與實驗設計模型之基本理論,與應用技巧,以強化使用線性模型方法及可能進一步活用的能力。
In order to enable students to start from linear algebra and matrix algebra, they will learn statistics that mainly apply linear models, that is, the basic theory and application skills of regression analysis and experimental design models, so as to strengthen the ability to use linear model methods and possibly further apply them.
