課程概述 Course Description
數理統計為碩士班一年級的必修課程，課程主要教授統計理論與概念，為其他統計相關課程的理論基礎，並培養學生修習更高深與統計相關之課程的能力。本課程藉由定義解析、定理推導與實例講解過程，由淺入深的引導學生學習理論和掌握機率與統計的基本理論與概念。
課程內容包括機率基本定義、定理、分配與收斂概念等，統計部分介紹相關的點估計、檢定與區間估計等各種不同的方法與理論，並藉由小樣本與大樣本評量其優劣。
Mathematical statistics is a compulsory course for the first-year master's program. The course mainly teaches statistical theories and concepts, which serves as the theoretical basis for other statistics-related courses and cultivates students' ability to take more advanced statistics-related courses. This course guides students to learn theory and master the basic theories and concepts of probability and statistics through the process of definition analysis, theorem derivation and practical examples.
The course content includes basic definitions of probability, theorems, distribution and convergence concepts, etc. The statistics section introduces various methods and theories such as point estimation, testing and interval estimation, and evaluates their advantages and disadvantages through small samples and large samples.
