進階英語課程授課之基本理念:
1.學習語言為進修語文之基礎,先聽說後讀寫,應循序漸進
2.管理學院會計系學習英語進修英文之目的,在增盡溝通能力,強化學生就業競爭力,開拓未來生涯資展之機會. 因此,本課程亦以強化學生溝通能力為第一要務.
3.語文之學習須生活化,學習英語進修英文不應只是一門功課,不僅止於背單字記文法,而應建樹見林活學活用.
基於上述理念,本課程有以下幾點特色準則:
1.本課程以教導學生正確觀念方法,教導學生「學習如何學習」改變學生以往「學英文」等同於「背單字記文法」之認知、態度、習慣為首要目標,追求長期學習效果而非短期考試分數提升.
2.本課程之教材以新聞時事及生活食衣住行為主,文法及管理(會計)等專業內容為輔.
3.本課程強力要求學生在上課過程中積極參與不斷互動,鼓勵學生由嘗試錯誤中不斷進步..
Basic concepts of advanced English course teaching:
1. Learning a language is the basis for furthering Chinese language. Listening and speaking first and then reading and writing should be done step by step.
2. The purpose of learning English in the Accounting Department of the School of Management is to enhance communication skills, strengthen students’ employment competitiveness, and open up opportunities for future career development. Therefore, this course also takes strengthening students’ communication skills as its top priority.
3. The study of Chinese language must be integrated into daily life. Learning English and furthering English should not be just a homework, not just memorizing single words and memorizing grammar, but also learning and applying in practice.
Based on the above concepts, this course has the following characteristics:
1. The primary goal of this course is to teach students correct concepts and methods, teach students to "learn how to learn", and change students' previous cognition, attitude, and habits that "learning English" is equivalent to "memorizing single words and memorizing grammar", and pursues long-term learning results rather than short-term Test scores improve.
2. The teaching materials of this course are mainly based on news and current affairs and daily life, food, clothing and housing, supplemented by professional content such as grammar and management (accounting).
3. This course strongly requires students to actively participate in continuous interaction during the class, and encourages students to make continuous progress through trial and error.
