本課程之目標在於教導學生瞭解電路中各種功率消耗之來源,並學習在不同設計層次中之低功率設計方法。透過本課程,學生可以學得如何將原始電路加以改良成低耗電之電路,或者將低功率技術運用於最初之電路設計中。The goal of this course is to teach students to understand the various sources of power consumption in circuits and to learn low-power design methods at different design levels. Through this course, students can learn how to improve the original circuit into a low-power circuit, or apply low-power technology to the original circuit design.
本課程主要內容為各種不同層次之低功率設計方式介紹,課程由功率消耗模型開始,逐一探討電路設計過程中,可能面臨到的耗電問題,以及該如何解決這些問題。課程單元將包含動態功率、靜態功率、電源管理等主題,另外也將介紹低功率嵌入式處理器設計之實例。
The main content of this course is an introduction to various low-power design methods at different levels. The course starts with the power consumption model and discusses one by one the power consumption problems that may be faced during the circuit design process and how to solve these problems. Course units will cover topics such as dynamic power, static power, and power management. Examples of low-power embedded processor design will also be introduced.
