目前生物多樣性之相關研究在國內有愈來愈被重視之趨勢,無論何種分類群皆有一定數量之研究調查進行。然而,生物多樣性的數據資料在性質上有別於其他生命科學領域,無法以一般常用之統計方式加以分析。若無適當之了解與訓練,而以傳統之統計方式來處理生物多樣性之數據,不是因數據結構過於複雜以致無法有效分析;就是會對數據本身進行過度之壓縮而喪失了許多重要的資訊。本課程之目的,在使學生了解生物多樣性數據之特質,如何進行數據之整理、取捨;各種單變量及多變量分析方法;以及如何探討生物多樣性、環境生物及非生物因子之互動關係。希望能藉由本課程之訓練而能加強生物多樣性研究的深度及廣度。At present, related research on biological diversity is becoming more and more important in China. No matter what kind of classification, there are research surveys conducted. However, biodiversity data are of different nature from other life science fields and cannot be analyzed in a generally commonly used statistical manner. If you do not understand and train properly and use a traditional and traditional method to treat biological diversity data, it is either because the data structure is too complex and cannot be effectively analyzed; it is that it will lose a lot of important information by excessive compression of the data itself. The purpose of this course is to enable students to understand the characteristics of biological diversity data, how to organize and decode data; various single variables and multivariate analysis methods; and how to explore the interaction between biological diversity, environmental biological and abiotic factors. We hope that through the training of this course, we can enhance the depth and breadth of biological diversity research.
