教育目標 Course Target

構想力(Einbildungskraft, power of imagination)一般譯為想像力,它不僅是藝術創作必要的基礎條件,亦是哲學思維不可或缺的認知與表象能力。 康德(Kant)於第一批判和第三批判論構想力之後,於19世紀掀起構想力研究熱潮,除了哲學領域之外,人類學和心理學都對構想力都有諸多的研究著作,尤其,心理學對構想力的研究力一度引領各界的對構想力的研究,直到二十世紀初海德格(Heidegger)才再將對構想力的研究主軸引回哲學領域。 本課程將以康德《純粹理性批判》於第一版有關構想力的探討為主,以《判斷力批判》為輔。由於康德於《純粹理性批判》對構想力的論述留下了詮釋的空間,因此當代哲學家出現了不同的詮釋,並且主要分為三種方向,第一種,即是海德格對康德構想力(想像力)基於主體主體性的論點,也是目前最具影響力的詮釋;第二種是以新康德學派和英美分析基於認識論的詮釋,例如德國Cassirer英國Strawson;第三種則是基於對前面兩種詮釋的反省,嘗試回到康德文本進行詮釋與解構,例如,當代學者Sarah Gibbons和Matthias Wunsch。 由於本學期上課時間有限,本課程以康德文本的探討為主,將進一步瞭解海德格和Strawson的相關詮釋,以瞭解康德有關構想力(想像力)的哲學內容及其之於哲學思維的重要性。The power of imagination is generally translated as imagination. It is not only a necessary basic condition for artistic creation, but also an indispensable cognitive and representative ability in philosophical thinking. After Kant's first and third critical thinking, he set off a wave of research on conceptual power in the 19th century. In addition to the field of philosophy, human and psychology have a lot of research works on conceptual power. In particular, psychology's research on conceptual power once led to the research on conceptual power from all walks of life. It was not until the early 20th century that Heidegger brought the main research on conceptual power back to the field of philosophy. This course will focus on Kant's "Critique of Pure Reason" in the first edition of the exploration of the power of ideas, and will be based on "Critique of Judgmental Power". Since Kant left a space for commentary on the theory of the conception of "Critique of Reason" in "Critique of Pure Reason", contemporary philosophers have different opinions and are mainly divided into three directions. The first is Heidegger's argument on Kant's conception (imagination) based on the subjective subjectivity, which is also the most influential at present. The second is a commentary based on the Neo-Kantian school and British-American analysis based on the arguments, such as the German Cassirer British Strawson; the third is a commentary based on reflection on the previous two comments, trying to review and interpret Kantian texts, for example, the contemporary scholar Sarah Gibbons and Matthias Wunsch. Due to the limited time of class in this school, this course focuses on the exploration of Kant's text, and will further understand the related comments between Heidegger and Strawson to understand Kant's philosophical content about conceptual (imagination) and its importance to philosophical thinking.
