柏拉圖的《理想國》不僅是西方哲學最重要的著作之一，同時也是西方文明不朽的經典。在探究「正義」這一課題的前提之下，柏拉圖除了闡述其政治理想外，該書的內容也廣泛地觸及形上學、知識論、倫理學與教育學等等。事實上，柏拉圖的正義論一方面顯現了希臘哲學對希臘神話、悲劇所代表的傳統希臘倫理思想的「繼承」與「反叛」；另一方面則開啟西方「正義論」傳統的一個重要面向。本課程主要是針對柏拉圖《理想國》一書進行解讀，希望透過這樣的介紹，使得修課學生除了掌握柏拉圖的思想外，還能進一步對西方「正義論」相關的探討有一基本的認識。

Plato's "Ideal Country" is not only one of the most important works in Western philosophy, but also an immortal classic of Western civilization. Under the premise of exploring the subject of "righteousness", in addition to describing his political ideals, Plata also has a broad understanding of metaphysics, intellectual theory, ethics, education, etc. In fact, Plague's justification theory shows the "inheritance" and "rebellion" of Greek philosophy to the traditional Greek ethical thought represented by Greek mythology and tragedy; on the other hand, it opens an important aspect of the Western "righteous theory" tradition. This course mainly explains the book "Ideal Country" of Plata. I hope that through this introduction, students in the course can not only master the ideas of Plata, but also further understand the relevant exploration of Western "righteous discussion".
