The objectives of this course are as follows:
1. Explore in a scientific way the unnecessary suffering that animals suffer under human management, and then use science and technology to minimize this suffering. These technologies are then included in the law, forcing humans to implement them in order to realize human moral obligations.
2. Taking the sensory abilities of animals as the basis for respecting the moral interests of animals, it is advocated that humans should give different degrees of respect to animals with different sensory abilities. In ethics, deontology and consequentialism are the main research methods, and their main value principle is: even good results will not be accepted if evil means are used.
