1. 基地計劃 ─ 對基地環境體系與脈絡之分析，以及設計操作層次整合回應之能力。
2. 設計發展 ─ 由概念演繹為空間及構築形式的設計思考能力。
3. 建築體系 ─ 在設計中整合機能、結構、動線、構造等系統之能力。(複合性機能計劃之空間組織能力)1. Base planning - analysis of the base environment system and context, and the ability to design and integrate responses at the operational level.
2. Design development - Design thinking ability from conceptual interpretation to space and architectural form.
3. Architectural system - the ability to integrate functional, structural, circulation, structural and other systems in design. (Spatial organization ability of composite functional planning)
在經過二年級設計課的教育後，學生應該已經熟悉基本尺寸與尺度的設計，以及對於空間內容(program)之組織和基地條件考慮的初步之練習。
在三年級的設計課程中我們強調更深入的整合性的練習，這些練習應能包含一些基本的建築專業議題，例如:
1. 對於基地涵構的整合觀念(與建築或都市系統的整合)。
2. 合理的空間動線和序列的安排(包含內部與外部)。
3. 複合性program的組織方式(包含: 垂直和水平的)。
4. 不同功能整合時的公共與私密性考量(邊界的議題)、
5. 室內、外邊界界定(立面設計與牆剖面觀念的議題)
6. 以及更重要的建築tectonic- 構造與結構與這些概念如何產生相輔相成的結果。
After receiving education in the second-year design class, students should already be familiar with the design of basic dimensions and scales, as well as preliminary exercises in organizing spatial content (program) and considering base conditions.
In the third-year design courses we emphasize more in-depth integrated exercises that cover some basic architectural professional topics, such as:
1. An integrated concept of site structure (integration with architecture or urban systems).
2. Reasonable arrangement of spatial movement lines and sequences (including internal and external).
3. How the complex program is organized (including: vertical and horizontal).
4. Public and private considerations when integrating different functions (border issues),
5. Definition of indoor and outdoor boundaries (issues on facade design and wall section concepts)
6. And more importantly architectural tectonic- tectonics and structure and how these concepts produce complementary results.
