教育目標 Course Target

細胞生物學為生命科學領域中重要的一門學科, 不管是醫學或是生物科技領域, 都必須要對細胞內的結構組成, 分子作用, 或是訊息傳遞方式有相當的了解. 因此本課程的目標為讓學生充分了解現代細胞學的各種知識以及研究方式, 課程中也將導入最新生物學發展, 以及在醫學和生物科技上的應用. 期望學生未來不管是繼續在研究領域上或進入相關領域職場, 都能充分具備細胞生物學的知識以及概念.Cell biology is an important subject in the field of life sciences. 課程概述 Course Description

近年來,生命科學蓬勃發展,由開始瞭解細菌基因的結構與功能,一直到今日對真核細胞甚至人類基因的調控機轉及其序列均有極大的突破。細胞內各種胞器的結構與功能,細胞的發育分化、細胞與細胞之間的訊息傳遞、細胞與外基質的關係及細胞的老化與癌化等,均為目前的研究主題。本課將對以上問題加以探討並訓練學生對生命現象有更新的認識並啟發學生的思考能力。上課主要內容先由細胞的演化及其基本的物理化學特性談起,而後逐步介紹細胞膜之結構與功能,胞器的生理功能,細胞骨架,細胞的信息傳遞及生長因子,細胞外基質與細胞的關係,細胞繁殖,細胞分裂之調控、分化、老化、及癌化的機轉,此外對新的生物科技技術之研發成果,亦列為上課之內容。
In recent years, life sciences have developed rapidly. From the beginning of understanding the structure and function of bacterial genes, to today, there have been great breakthroughs in the regulatory mechanisms and sequences of eukaryotic cells and even human genes. The structure and function of various organelles within cells, cell development and differentiation, cell-to-cell message transmission, the relationship between cells and extracellular matrix, and cell aging and canceration are all current research topics. This course will explore the above issues and train students to have a new understanding of life phenomena and inspire students' thinking ability. The main content of the class starts with the evolution of cells and their basic physical and chemical properties, and then gradually introduces the structure and function of cell membranes, the physiological functions of organelles, cytoskeleton, cell information transmission and growth factors, extracellular matrix and cell Relationship, cell reproduction, regulation of cell division, differentiation, aging, and canceration mechanisms. In addition, the research and development results of new biotechnology technologies are also included in the class.
