Adhering to the tradition since ancient Greece, physiology is based on anatomy, emphasizing the application of knowledge of physics and chemistry to elucidate the principles of the operation of biological systems based on known structures. With the rapid development of modern biology, the content of physiology has also been integrated with knowledge and technologies such as cytology, genetics, biochemistry, and molecular biology to explain life phenomena at the cellular and molecular levels. The focus of this course on human physiology is to introduce the connections and interactions between cells, organs, and systems at all levels in the human body. The teaching content will focus on the mechanisms of communication, coordination, inhibition and feedback processes between various parts of the human body, and then clarify how various systems in the body work together to maintain the stability of individual life in the ever-changing external environment.
