本課程希望能對於徐復觀先生的看法做一簡介,於生平部分,徐復觀先後任教於台灣省立農學院（今中興大學）與東海大學，最後任教於香港新亞研究所(今香港中文大學)，雖然歷任三校，但其學術聲譽，基本奠立於東海大學任教期間(1955-1969)。在東海大學這段為期十四年的歲月裡，徐復觀先生不論在學術界或輿論領域，均有不凡的表現與貢獻。也對徐先生的作品,做一簡介。希望能對徐先生生平,還有其主要的先秦與兩漢等思想相關的著作,還有如中國藝術精神,中國人性論史,對於文史哲的學生都能有基本的學習與認識;並對於徐先生的文化政治觀有所介紹

This course hopes to give an introduction to the views of Mr. Xu Fuguan. In the life part, Xu Fuguan taught successively at the Taiwan Provincial Agricultural College (now National Chung Hsing University) and Tunghai University, and finally taught at the Hong Kong New Asia Research Institute (now the Chinese University of Hong Kong). Although he served in three universities, his academic reputation was basically established during his tenure as a teacher at Tunghai University (1955-1969). During his fourteen years at Tunghai University, Mr. Xu Fuguan made extraordinary performances and contributions both in academia and in the field of public opinion. Also give an introduction to Mr. Xu’s works. I hope that students of literature, history and philosophy can have a basic study and understanding of Mr. Xu's life, as well as his major works related to pre-Qin and Han dynasty thoughts, as well as the spirit of Chinese art and the history of Chinese human nature. I also hope that students of literature, history and philosophy can have a basic understanding of Mr. Xu's cultural and political views.
