這是一門為藝術創作的研究生所特別規劃的課程，主要目的是讓研究所的訓練不囿限於探討創作品質與方法，也同時兼顧學生在台灣社會作為一個創作者，學習如何有效地規劃與經營自己未來的專業職涯，和如何跨入商業畫廊的第一步。。對策評組的選課生，則作為一種對藝術生態與機制的了解，以及對創作者的生產模式有所熟悉，以強化中介角色的職能。
藝術專業職能講座（一）：認識台灣當代藝術生態和市場運作特性與機制、創作和市場的關連與自我定位、如何對專業生涯展開中長期之規畫。
藝術專業職能講座（二）：如何在技術面準備好自身的職涯資訊，認識相關的法規、尋找資源的策略等，以強化學生創作和藝術策畫行業之就業態度、和技術能力。
本課程本課程將邀請年輕創作和設計工作者陳松志協同教學，視需要邀請藝術界各類型的專業人士來校談論藝術家的生存法則，例如策展人、藝術家、商業畫廊經營者、政府或基金會承辦人等，以及校外參訪的安排，期能培養修課同學跨越到職場的專業能力。This is a specially designed course for graduate students in art creation. Functional lectures for art majors (1): Understand the characteristics and mechanisms of Taiwan’s contemporary art ecology and market operations, the relationship between creation and the market, and self-positioning, and how to plan for mid- to long-term professional careers.

This course will invite young creative and design worker Chen Songzhi to co-teach. If necessary, professionals from various art circles will be invited to the school to talk about the survival rules of artists, such as curators, artists, commercial gallerists, governments or foundations.
