當代社會工作的原型，是一種關懷窮人（弱勢群體）生活的實踐行動，透過各種改善窮人（弱勢群體）生活狀態的脫貧策略以及輸送相關服務，是社會工作專業發展的立基。然而，當代的社會工作隨著專精化的發展，從「問題化」 的視野來理解窮人（弱勢群體）的成因、處遇策略成了社會工作的主流，但這種專業的眼光與位置，以及問題化的視野卻也拉開了我們與窮人（弱勢群體）之間的距離。本課程希望透過閱讀、對話、討論、分享，以及視覺影像，重新來理解貧窮（弱勢群體）文化以及社會工作所建構的諸多概念。期盼透過這門課的探索，反思社會工作專業文化，而有不同面向的知識生產、政策方案與實踐行動的可能。

The prototype of contemporary social work is a practical action of caring for the lives of the poor (vulnerable groups). Through various poverty alleviation strategies to improve the living conditions of the poor (vulnerable groups) and the delivery of related services, it is the foundation for the development of the social work profession. However, with the development of specialization in contemporary social work, understanding the causes and treatment strategies of the poor (vulnerable groups) from a "problematic" perspective has become the mainstream of social work. However, this professional vision and position, as well as the problematization perspective, have also widened the distance between us and the poor (vulnerable groups). This course hopes to re-understand the culture of poverty (disadvantaged groups) and many concepts constructed by social work through reading, dialogue, discussion, sharing, and visual images. I hope that through the exploration of this course, I can reflect on the professional culture of social work and have the possibility of different aspects of knowledge production, policy plans and practical actions.
