充實博士生進行專題研究能力，訓練博班生針對個人之專長興趣著寫學術文章之基本能力與閱讀、批判思考能力Entrepreneurship of doctoral students in research, and practice the basic ability of writing academic articles and reading and critical thinking skills in practicing doctoral students.

2.讓修課者習得社會工作議題的解釋論點、因應策略與分析框架。
3.讓修課者具有獨立撰寫學術性論文、獨立執行學術研究的能力。
