本課程目標係以大學已習得的社會工作研究方法內涵為基礎，進一步深化研究方法與技術的知能學習與實務應用能力。希望達到以下目標：
一. 深化社會工作研究的重要概念,方法,與技術之學習與應用能力
二. 協助學生運用習得的相關知能，結合個人的社會工作實務經驗，進一步有效的建立適當的研究設計議題與邏輯
三, 學習有效使用各種現有資訊以及相關資料庫，協助社會工作研究的執行
四. 學習客觀精確的評析社會工作相關期刊論文

The goal of this course is to further deepen the intellectual learning and practical application capabilities of research methods and techniques based on the connotation of social work research methods that have been learned at the university. Hope to achieve the following goals:
1. Deepen the ability to learn and apply important concepts, methods, and techniques in social work research
2. Assist students to use the acquired relevant knowledge and combine it with personal social work practical experience to further effectively establish appropriate research design topics and logic.
3. Learn to effectively use various existing information and related databases to assist in the implementation of social work research
4. Learn to objectively and accurately evaluate social work-related journal articles

「社會工作研究法」為本系碩士班一年級下學期學生必修課程之一，本課程的講授乃延續大學部之基本社會工作研究方法內容，除複習社會工作研究方法之特性和基本概念外，將進一步講授研究的設計構想邏輯，包括：確認論文研究主題、研究正當性之探討、概念化、擬定研究之概念架構等。另外，本課程亦將探討實驗研究設計、非實驗性研究、質性研究方法、與評估研究方法在社會工作學科領域所扮演之角色。修課學生將可藉由本課程之學習及各種作業演練，逐步建構各自之碩士論文研究計劃。

"Social Work Research Methods" is one of the compulsory courses for the second semester of the first-year master's program in this department. The teaching of this course continues the basic social work research methods content of the undergraduate department. In addition to reviewing the characteristics and basic concepts of social work research methods, the design and conception logic of the research will be further taught, including: confirming the thesis research topic, discussing the legitimacy of the research, conceptualizing, formulating the conceptual structure of the research, etc. In addition, this course will also explore the roles of experimental research design, non-experimental research, qualitative research methods, and evaluation research methods in the field of social work. Students taking this course will be able to gradually construct their own master's thesis research plan through the study of this course and various homework exercises.
