The purpose of this course is to explore the relationship between international politics and international economics. Furthermore, this course intends to bring international economic issues into international politics domain and discuss these issues from political scientists point of view. As students of political science, the impact of international politics on international economics will be the major concern throughout the whole semester. This course aims to explore the diplomatic history between China and Western countries since Chin-Dynasty of China through the periods of the World War I and the World War II until the early time of 21th century in which the turning points of international affairs including politics, economy, and military interaction are the most important focuses.
