教育目標 Course Target

本課程將空間的觀念引入個體經濟理論,將涉及廠商間的空間競爭策略、產品品牌定位、產品品質差異化、以及連鎖店區位選擇。當納入空間因素時,廠商、個人以及政府單位的行為與決策可能受到影響,而產生與傳統經濟理論極為不同且有趣的結果,可擴展學生經濟學之學習範疇。上課內容為自編教材,先介紹空間競爭理論之經典文獻,與重要模型推導,再進行近年相關重要文獻選讀。This course introduces the concept of space into individual economic theory and will involve spatial competition strategies among manufacturers, product brand positioning, product quality differentiation, and chain store location selection. When spatial factors are included, the behavior and decision-making of manufacturers, individuals, and government units may be affected, resulting in very different and interesting results from traditional economic theory, which can expand the scope of students' economics learning. The content of the class is a self-compiled textbook. It first introduces the classic literature on spatial competition theory and the derivation of important models, and then selects relevant important literature in recent years.


課程概述 Course Description

空間競爭分析 (Spatial Competition Analysis) 本課程主要是運用個體經濟理論來探討空間、區位競爭的議題。當考慮空間因素時,廠商、個人以及政府單位的行為與決策可能受到影響,而產生與傳統經濟理論極為不同且有趣的結果。本課程將空間的觀念引入個體經濟理論,將涉及廠商間的空間競爭策略、產品品牌定位、產品品質差異化、以及連鎖店區位選擇,可擴展學生的經濟學學習範疇。上課內容為自編教材,先介紹空間競爭理論之經典文獻,與重要模型推導,再進行近年相關重要文獻選讀。
Spatial Competition Analysis This course mainly uses individual economic theory to explore issues of space and location competition. When spatial factors are taken into account, the behavior and decisions of manufacturers, individuals, and government units may be affected, producing interesting results that are very different from traditional economic theory. This course introduces the concept of space into individual economic theory, and will involve spatial competition strategies among manufacturers, product brand positioning, product quality differentiation, and chain store location selection, which can expand students' economics learning scope. The content of the class is a self-compiled textbook. It first introduces the classic literature on spatial competition theory and the derivation of important models, and then selects relevant important literature in recent years.
