教育目標 Course Target

  就近年的國際佛學圈而言,佛教倫理學的研究與討論正方興未艾,除了陸續有相關論題在國際著名的期刊發表之外,近年也有相關議題的國際研討會在北美舉行,其中聚集了佛教哲學、道德哲學、道德心理學、認知科學與社會學……等不同領域的專家學者探討佛教倫理學的議題。   當代的佛教倫理學的論述傾向,多以佛教哲學的內涵逐步展開對應於當代倫理學或應用倫理學的討論,如果這樣的研究與論述路徑具備著相當程度的合法性,我們可以發現,假若要進行佛教倫理學的討論,似乎必須建構在佛教文獻與哲學內涵之基礎上才有可能。   基於這樣的理由,本課程的目標在於引導同學們初步把握佛教文獻與哲學內涵,以之作為建構佛教倫理學理論的基礎,逐步引導同學把握佛教倫理學的核心理論,並反思其中哲學論證與理由。除了深入探究佛教倫理學之外,特別引導同學閱讀若干佛教倫理學重要的學術研究成果,刺激同學深度思考並激發研究興趣。此外,在課堂的歷程中,除了養成學生從文本中把握哲學問題的能力外,也透過課堂討論與論文寫作的訓練,培養學生獨立研究與教學的能力。As far as the international Buddhist circle is concerned in recent years, the research and discussion of Buddhist ethics is in the ascendant. In addition to related topics being published in famous international journals, international seminars on related topics have also been held in North America in recent years, among which Buddhist philosophy has been gathered. Experts and scholars in different fields such as moral philosophy, moral psychology, cognitive science and sociology discuss issues of Buddhist ethics. The discussion tendency of contemporary Buddhist ethics is to use the connotation of Buddhist philosophy to gradually develop discussions corresponding to contemporary ethics or applied ethics. If such a research and discussion path has a considerable degree of legitimacy, we can find that if we want It seems that discussion of Buddhist ethics must be based on Buddhist literature and philosophical connotations. For this reason, the goal of this course is to guide students to initially grasp the connotations of Buddhist literature and philosophy, use them as the basis for constructing Buddhist ethics theory, and gradually guide students to grasp the core theories of Buddhist ethics and reflect on the philosophical arguments and reasons. . In addition to in-depth exploration of Buddhist ethics, students are specially guided to read several important academic research results on Buddhist ethics to stimulate students to think deeply and stimulate their research interests. In addition, during the course of the class, in addition to cultivating students' ability to grasp philosophical issues from texts, students' independent research and teaching abilities are also cultivated through classroom discussions and paper writing training.
