課程目標：探討中國近代社會尤其清季以來的中國社會變遷，進而讓同學對近代中國的政治、經濟與社會有相當的認識。Course objective: Explore the changes in Chinese society in modern times, especially since the Qing Dynasty, and thus give students a similar understanding of the politics, economy and society of modern China.
