This course is designed for students to learn hands-on skills in translation, to deal with the knotty linguistic and stylistic problems, and to bridge cultural gaps in translation, while exploring translation theories relevant to their practical work. This course is project-based; students are required to translate selective materials from English to Chinese weekly.
