本課程旨在提升學生文學閱讀及鑑賞能力，培養其獨立思考、語文表達的能力。選讀範文注重「文學性」、「典範性」、「知識性」、「實用性」，並兼具「現代性」與「本土性」。於古今學都名著中，選擇主旨純正、文辭優美、藝術高超的代表作品。文體分記敘文、抒情文、論說文、應用文；韻文則有詩、詞、曲等；另有戲曲、小說。各範文以能呈現該時代文化面貌之作品為主，講授過程中將有系統地介紹各體文學的源流、特色和影響，以幫助學生對於整個文學發展的瞭解。This course aims to improve students' literary reading and appreciation abilities, and cultivate their independent thinking and Chinese expression abilities. The selected reading essays focus on "literariness", "exemplification", "intellectuality" and "practicality", and have both "modernity" and "locality". Among the ancient and modern classics, we select representative works with pure themes, beautiful diction, and superb art. The literary styles are divided into narratives, lyrical essays, expositions, and practical essays; rhymes include poems, lyrics, songs, etc.; there are also operas and novels. Each model essay is mainly a work that can present the cultural features of that era. During the teaching process, the origin, characteristics and influence of each type of literature will be systematically introduced to help students understand the development of the entire literature.
