本課程延續上學期學習內容，從元代雜劇進入到明代優秀傳奇作品的閱讀賞析，介紹兩種劇種在藝術形式與主題、風格之差異。主題一以《牡丹亭》作為主要閱讀文本，並引導學生認識崑曲之表演藝術特點。主題二為明傳奇代表劇作之一《琵琶記》，將分析戲劇與時代之關係。此外將介紹當代具代表性之戲曲演出，進行觀賞、評析與討論；主題一為張愛玲小說《金鎖記》、電影《怨女》以及京劇《金鎖記》三者之間的形式轉換與藝術性、主題上的差異比較。主題二則為改編自傳統京劇《御碑亭》之實驗性京劇小劇場《王有道休妻》的劇本閱讀與演出賞析。期末則安排有戲劇演出活動，修課同學需以分組方式，參考這一年來所修習過的戲曲劇本進行「文案設計」與「文本改寫」，並登台演出。

This course continues the learning content of the previous semester, from the Yuan Dynasty dramas to the reading and appreciation of outstanding legendary works of the Ming Dynasty, and introduces the differences in art form, theme and style between the two types of dramas. Theme One takes "The Peony Pavilion" as the main reading text and guides students to understand the performance art characteristics of Kunqu Opera. The second theme is "Pipa Ji", one of the legendary representative dramas of the Ming Dynasty, and the relationship between the drama and the times will be analyzed. In addition, representative contemporary opera performances will be introduced for viewing, analysis and discussion; the first topic is the comparison of the form transformation, artistry and thematic differences between Zhang Ailing's novel "The Legend of the Golden Lock", the movie "The Resentful Girl" and the Peking Opera "The Legend of the Golden Lock". The second topic is the script reading and performance appreciation of the experimental Peking Opera small theater "Wang Youdao Divorced His Wife" adapted from the traditional Peking Opera "Royal Stele Pavilion". At the end of the semester, there is a drama performance activity. Students taking the course are required to work in groups to carry out "copywriting design" and "text rewriting" with reference to the opera scripts they have studied this year, and then perform on stage.
