教育目標 Course Target

一座城市如何成形?都市的建築配置與空間改變如何影響生活於其中的人?一個都市人的情感、意識、性別、族裔、職業、乃至活動地區、社會行為與消費模式,和其都市有怎樣的關聯?交流越來越頻繁的國際大都會,有何共通或互異之處?而影像作為當代最重要的文化生產形式之一,又如何呼應或建構城市的生活與文化?本課程期望以活潑且具有批判意識的方式,來探討都市這個微型社會的空間政治與文化論述等議題,並透過各種動靜態影像的賞析,培養人文關懷與反思。How does a city take shape? How does urban building configuration and space change affect the people living in it? What is the relationship between an urban person’s emotions, consciousness, gender, ethnicity, career, and even activity areas, social behavior and consumption patterns? What are the common or different places in the international metropolis where communication is becoming more and more frequent? And as one of the most important forms of cultural production in contemporary times, how can images respond or build urban life and culture? This course hopes to explore the spatial political and cultural arguments of this micro society in a lively and critical way, and cultivate humanistic concerns and reflections through the analysis of various dynamic and static images.
