本課程一開始從我們地球所處的太陽系講起，由主宰我們生活的太陽開始介紹太陽系中的各個成員，太陽、八大行星、海王星外天體的提出、發展與爭議，彗星與流星。之後會提到跟我們最密切的日、地、月三者對地球所造成的影響：曆法。上半學期應該也會介紹到可以觀測遠方也但也等於觀測過去的工具：望遠鏡。
講完太陽系之後，會繼續介紹太陽系以外的世界：銀河與銀河中其他的成員。除了恆星之外，銀河中還有許多孕育恆星的星雲以及恆星死亡後的遺骸，課程將以星空中常見的成員之間的前後關係串連起恆星一生的演化過程。課程最後將會介紹到對宇宙中最小的物質結構基本粒子-的研究與對最大的宇宙得研究之間有何密切關係，以及人類目前對於尋找地球以外的生命有什麼想法與進展。

本課程期中筆試佔總分30％，期末筆試佔40％，星座辨識實測佔30％。點名採抽點方式，缺課一次扣總成績2分。學期開始第一堂課缺課同學將直接予以退選將名額騰出給候補同學。

The course will connect the evolution of Hengxing's life with the common relationship between members in the starry sky. The course will eventually introduce the close relationship between the research on the smallest material structure elementary particles in the universe and the research on the largest universe, as well as what humans currently have in finding life outside the earth.

The course scored 30% of the total score, the end of the course accounted for 40%, and the constellation identification measurement accounted for 30%. The pointer is selected and the total score is 2 points deducted for one missed class. The first class for the first class will be missed at the beginning of the school period and will be directly withdrawn and the number will be given to the students.
