本課程經由各種台灣民俗藝術的介紹、欣賞與探討，使修習者對台灣常民及原住民的生活文化有具體而深層的體會，經由認知基礎培養民俗藝術題材的鑑賞素養，進而對台灣本土文化的發展建立宏觀而包容的認知態度，以擴大人文視野和襟懷。以此培養學生求真、篤信、力行、宏通的基本素養，達成博雅教育目標。

This course introduces, appreciates and explores various Taiwanese folk arts, so that practitioners can have a concrete and profound understanding of the living culture of Taiwanese people and indigenous peoples. Through the knowledge-based cultivation of folk art themes, we will establish a grand and inclusive awareness of the development of Taiwan’s local culture to expand humanistic vision and mind. In this way, students can cultivate the basic elements of seeking truth, trust, practice and ambition, and achieve the goal of liberal arts education.
