經由臺灣歷史發展過程之各種文化課題的探討,希望同學在修畢本課程後,能對臺灣之社會文化的現象、制度、與價值理念有一宏觀的了解,並能從不同角度思考傳統與現代社會間的關係,此外,也希望藉著閱讀及課堂的討論,培養學生的人文精神。Through the discussion of various cultural issues in Taiwan's historical development process, I hope that after completing this course, students will have a macro understanding of Taiwan's social and cultural phenomena, systems, and values, and be able to think about traditional and modern society from different perspectives. In addition, we also hope to cultivate students’ humanistic spirit through reading and classroom discussions.
