中國歷史號稱五千年，而漢字的發生可追溯至四千年前，是四大文明古國中唯一沒有中斷過的書體，對於研究中國文化和思想，文字是基本的入口。本課程將介紹漢字字原，及文字的形義特色和流變，歸納中國上古文化的基本狀況，進而通讀文獻資料，並探討古代文化的相關議題。China has a history of five thousand years, and the emergence of Chinese characters can be traced back to four thousand years ago. It is the only uninterrupted script among the four ancient civilizations. For the study of Chinese culture and thought, characters are the basic entrance. This course will introduce the original characters of Chinese characters, as well as the characteristics and evolution of the form and meaning of the characters, summarize the basic situation of ancient Chinese culture, then read through the literature and explore related issues of ancient culture.
