It is said that Western culture is the most important culture that forms contemporary world culture, and Christianity (including Eastern Orthodox, Catholicism, and Protestantism) is the main contributor of Western culture. Whether it is positive or negative, it is almost impossible to understand Christianity to understand Western culture, so it is impossible to fully understand contemporary culture and its various values (human rights, democracy, science, ecologies, etc.). The core values of Christianity are reflected in its unique ethical view, and the main ethical disputes in contemporary West all take Christian ethics as the main reference. Therefore, whether in terms of knowledge gain or life reality, we believe that understanding Christian ethics has great value: on the one hand, we can understand the roots of Western ethics and the characteristics of Western culture by understanding Christian ethics, and on the other hand, we can reflect on our ethics and morality through Christian ethics. In short, as a global religion, Christian ethics has its value that cannot be ignored and is an important ethics resource worth referring to by those who want to improve their value of life and ethics. This course aims to describe the ethical view of Christianity. Christian ethics is rooted in the Christmas, so Christian ethics can also be said to be "the ethics of the Christmas". This can be divided into two parts: one is that there is a direct teaching in the "Sanctum", and the other is that there is no direct teaching in the "Sanctum" but it may be revealed.
