課程目標/建築設計可以說是創作者在特定的概念(idea)指導之下，經過思考程序，用型式(form)傳達他的意念和感情的一個過程。因此建築設計所使用的首先就是形
式，形式可以是實體也可以是空間，其次設計更是思考的過程，雖然過程總會有一個結果，但設計的活動本身就是翻來履去的過程，這個過程和形式必是一
個或少數幾個概念的控制下，最後傳達創作者的意念和感情。也就是賦予建築一種意義。然而有意義的概念卻涉及到文化和社會的問題，概念是否有意義是
否合宜，也都是每位創作者必須思考的問題。經過一學期的專業建築設計，大家會發現設計不只是對空間的抽象化思考，除了概念傳達，還得用建築空間表
現出概念來，加上對法規限制、結構與構造系合理、物環要求及細部思考等，建築成為很真實。建築所含蓋的範圍很廣，所以本學期課程仍然是從建築出發，
直接面對真的建築。並配合大二其他必修課程，像建築構造與建築物環等，將會容入建築設計學裡，成為主要的練習元素，再加上對整體建築與複合性功能
架構的操作，也都是本學期的訓練重點。
