透過數位與音樂的結合，引發學生了解廣義電腦音樂所涵蓋的知識與應用層面，如基礎的MIDI原理、電腦打譜，更深一步的數位聲波、 MIDI Sequencer以及環境音樂之學術研究探討。加上電影配樂、商業音樂之數位應用，使學生了解數位音樂創作原理與方法，並具實際使用電腦創作音樂之基本能力，以科技的方法達成音樂創作輔助與檢視之手段。

Through the combination of digital and music, students are encouraged to understand the knowledge and application aspects of computer music in a broad sense, such as basic MIDI principles, computer notation, and in-depth academic research on digital sound waves, MIDI Sequencers, and environmental music. In addition to the digital application of film soundtracks and commercial music, students will understand the principles and methods of digital music creation, and have the basic ability to actually use computers to create music, and use technological methods to assist and review music creation.
