1960 年代以來的藝術潮流形成一種多元文化的狀態，其內涵反應與探討社會文化，並且與科學、哲學、生活美學，皆有不同層次的相互依存關係。本課程將依不同的創作媒材，從時代風格探討藝術創作與人文精神，介紹導覽當代重要藝術作品，並討論藝術哲學、美學概念，與當代藝術的藝術的社會機制。

The art trend since the 1960s has formed a multicultural state. Its connotation reflects and explores social culture, and it has different levels of interdependence with science, philosophy, and life aesthetics. This course will explore artistic creation and humanistic spirit based on different creative media and styles of the times, introduce and guide important contemporary art works, and discuss art philosophy, aesthetic concepts, and the social mechanism of contemporary art.

介紹西方思想史中的「美學」與當代文化及藝術研究之理論基礎概念，作為大學部學生創作的理論參考架構，以及理論研究進階發展的基礎。

It introduces the theoretical basic concepts of "aesthetics" in the history of Western thought and contemporary culture and art research, as a theoretical reference framework for undergraduate students' creations, and as a basis for the advanced development of theoretical research.
