延續上學期之討論，本課程依照時間順序分為三大階段：「兩次世界大戰中間」、「戰後時期」、「邁向第三個千禧年」。 從超現實主義開始，我們將回顧二十世紀初期世界大戰對於藝術創作的影響，討論政治如何影響藝術發展，大戰後的文化思潮與藝術發展，還有在後現代主義的影響下，藝術如何挑戰既定的文化價值和美學信念。

Continuing the discussion from the previous semester, this course is divided into three major stages in chronological order: "between the two world wars", "the post-war period", and "towards the third millennium". Starting from Surrealism, we will review the impact of the world war on artistic creation in the early twentieth century, discuss how politics affected the development of art, the cultural trends and artistic development after the war, and how art challenged established cultural values ​​and aesthetic beliefs under the influence of postmodernism.
