延續上學期之討論，本課程依照時間順序分為三大階段：「兩次世界大戰中間」、「戰後時期」、「邁向第三個千禧年」。 從超現實主義開始，我們將回顧二十世紀初期世界大戰對於藝術創作的影響，討論政治如何影響藝術發展，大戰後的文化思潮與藝術發展，還有在後現代主義的影響下，藝術如何挑戰既定的文化價值和美學信念。

The discussion of the previous session is extended. This course is divided into three major stages in order of time: "middle between the two world wars", "post-war period", and "toward the third millennium". Starting from the super-realistic theory, we will review the influence of the world war in the early 20th century on artistic creation, discuss how politics affects the development of art, cultural thoughts and artistic development after the war, and how art challenges established cultural values ​​and aesthetic beliefs under the influence of post-modernism.
