臺灣的學校社會工作發展,近幾年雖逐漸有些雛型。學校是與兒童、青少年及家庭接觸的最佳環境。因此,課程中會引導學生學習如何透過學校環境,從個人、學校環境,擴展至家庭及社區,提供社會工作的專業服務。 而在以教育為主要專業的環境中,社會工作專業不僅面對與教育專業人員的合作、也同時與社區相關資源有密切的結合、並會涉及許多政策執行與組織運作的議題。因此本課程將會引導學生瞭解在學校的環境中,社會工作專業知識與技巧如何發揮功能。The development of school social work in Taiwan has gradually taken shape in recent years. Schools are the best environment for engaging with children, young people and families. Therefore, the course will guide students to learn how to provide professional social work services through the school environment, extending from individuals and school environments to families and communities. In an environment where education is the main profession, the social work profession not only faces cooperation with education professionals, but also has close integration with community-related resources and involves many issues in policy implementation and organizational operations. Therefore, this course will guide students to understand how social work professional knowledge and skills function in the school environment.
簡單來說「學校社會工作」就是將社會工作專業運用在以學校為基礎的生態系統中,協助學生及系統中的人都能得到適當的發展機會。《國民教育法》為學校社會工作進入校園輔導網絡提供了法源依據,也為學校社工啟動了專業制度化的發展契機。學校環境提供社會工作專業一個獨特的運作環境,藉由學校社工師與學校團隊成員及社區生態系統間的資源相互合作,往往能對學生及其所屬的家庭、學校帶來更適切的幫助。
Simply put, "school social work" means applying the social work profession in the school-based ecosystem to help students and people in the system get appropriate development opportunities. The "National Education Law" provides the legal basis for school social workers to enter the campus counseling network, and also provides an opportunity for the development of professional institutionalization for school social workers. The school environment provides a unique operating environment for the social work profession. Through the mutual cooperation between school social workers, school team members and the resources of the community ecosystem, more appropriate help can often be brought to students, their families and schools.
