政治學的介入企圖為經濟發展的研究困境解套,因為真正制定政策、執行政策和分配資源的關鍵是政府。缺乏關於政府的討論,經濟發展的研究只能找出相關的條件卻不能發展出相關的發展模式。即使如此,政治經濟學家所發展出的發展模式仍有許多可議之處,例如,民主和效率之間的矛盾,政治改革和經濟改革順序的問題等。
Political science’s interventional initiatives unravel the research dilemma of economic development, because the key to truly formulating policies, executing policies and allocating resources is the government. Without discussions about governments, research on economic development can only find relevant conditions but cannot develop related development models. Even so, there are still many points to be argued about the development model developed by political economic scholars, such as the contradiction between democracy and efficiency, the problem of political reform and the order of economic reform.
