本課程將透過學術與實務結合，用已知的選舉理論來詮釋、分析與解釋複雜的政治現象，以期許修課同學能夠更正確並迅速理解政黨政治與選舉制度在民主政治下的運作過程。

This course will combine academic and practicality, use known selection theory to explain, analyze and explain complex political phenomena, so that students in the course can correct and quickly understand the political party politics and selection system operation process under democratic politics.

本課程的主要研究議題分為政黨和選舉兩大主題領域。政黨包括政黨的定義、起源、組織、體系、候選人的提名制度，政黨與政治發展及其在政府體系中的角色，以及政黨在國會中的運作。選舉則包括各國的選舉制度、選舉制度的分類原則、選舉制度的政治影響等等。此外，本課程也深入探討政黨體制與選舉制度的相互關係，並對選民投票行為做一深入的探究。

The main research topics of this course are divided into two major topic areas: political party and selection. The political party includes the definition, origin, organization, system, candidate nomination system of the political party, political development and its role in the government system, and the political party's operations in the national association. The selection rules include the selection systems of each country, the classification principles of the selection systems, the political impact of the selection systems, etc. In addition, this course also explores the relationship between the political system and the selection system, and conducts an in-depth study on the behavior of electing the referendum.
