方法論乃是政治學研究的重要基礎,其中至少包含科學哲學、研究途徑以及研究方法、研究設計等部分。本課程將從社會科學哲學的角度出發,介紹政治學中有關本體論及認識論等問題;其次,經由社會科學的發展脈絡,教師也將分述政治學當中重要研究途徑的內涵及其相關檢討;再者,就政治學研究方法的重要元素和材料而言,本課程亦將以政治學中的科學概念為基礎,分次介紹幾項重要的研究方法。Methodology is an important foundation of political research, which includes at least scientific philosophy, research approaches, research methods, research design and other parts. This course will be developed from the perspective of social science philosophy and introduce issues such as the subjective and cognitive issues in politics; secondly, from the development of social science, teachers will also describe the connotation and related reviews of important research paths in politics; furthermore, in terms of important elements and materials of political research methods, this course will also be based on the scientific concepts in politics and introduce several important research methods in batches.
首先,辨別本體論、知識論(認識論)和方法論三者之間的不同。其次,探討政治學之研究發展及相關理論之演進。再者,研究質性和量化分析之內容和特性。第四,練習及掌握如何撰寫學術論文及研究計畫。
First, distinguish the differences between intrinsic theory, knowledge theory (cognition theory) and methodology theory. Secondly, explore the research development of political science and the evolution of related theories. Furthermore, study the content and characteristics of quality and quantitative analysis. Fourth, practice and master how to write academic papers and research plans.
