利用國際貿易理論分析貿易發生的原因，貿易發生後對一個國家的價格、生產因素的提供者、生產者、消費者、整體的福利會造成什麼樣的影響。同時也會討論對進口產品課徵進口關稅對對一個國家（貿易小國及大國）的價格、生產因素的提供者、生產者、消費者、整體的福利所造成的影響。不完全競爭之假設下的理論也將討論，並加入政府補貼在不完全競爭下對各廠商及出口國福利的影響。最後、介紹各全球性及區域性國際貿易組織，使學生能瞭解各組織之發展歷史、組織架構、組織精神、現況等相關事項。Use international trade theory to analyze the reasons why trade occurs, and what impact trade will have on a country's prices, providers of production factors, producers, consumers, and overall welfare.
