教育目標 Course Target
個體目的在於透過分析形成衆多物品和服務相對價格的市場機制以及這些有限資源如何配置在不同的用途上[4]，在這裡效率問題並非首要，個體經濟學並不太重視經濟效率問題，因爲那可從規範經濟學獲得答案。不僅如此，個體經濟學還分析市場失靈，究竟市場那處無法產生有效率的結果及在完全競爭的條件下，描述市場的理論上應當的狀況。這學科的重要範圍包括一般均衡理論、信息不對稱下的市場、賽局理論的經濟活動應用和市場系統內的經濟物品彈性問題。
The individual purpose is to analyze the market mechanism that forms the relative prices of many goods and services and how these limited resources are allocated for different uses [4]. The issue of efficiency is not primary here. Individual economics does not pay much attention to the issue of economic efficiency, because the answer can be obtained from normative economics. Not only that, individual economics also analyzes market failure, which part of the market cannot produce efficient results, and describes the theoretical situation of the market under conditions of perfect competition. The important scope of this subject includes general equilibrium theory, the market under asymmetric information, the application of game theory to economic activities and the elasticity of economic goods in the market system.
