在經濟學裡，投資通常是指實質投資，而投資學則多指金融投資。金融投資市場之範圍相當廣泛，除一般所認知的傳統權益證券（股票）市場、固定收益商品（債、票券）市場外，還包含衍生性金融商品。本課程旨在分析台灣金融市場上各類商品之評價與投資實務，並進而導入創新商品之觀念；在教學上，除一般理論之講解外，更著重目前台灣金融市場之實務介紹與模擬，期能使學生具備進入金融投資之知識與投入職場之利基。

In economics, investment usually refers to real investment, while investment mostly refers to financial investment. The scope of the financial investment market is quite wide. In addition to the generally recognized traditional equity securities (stock) market and fixed income commodity (debt, ticket) market, it also includes derivative financial commodities. This course aims to analyze the evaluation and investment practices of various commodities in the Taiwan financial market, and then introduce the concept of innovative commodities. In teaching, in addition to the explanation of general theory, it also focuses on the practical introduction and simulation of the current Taiwan financial market, hoping to enable students to have the niche of knowing and investing in financial investment.

The topics covered in this course will follow the major structure of the textbook that supply you the classical learning aids and convenience. The first part of the class will cover the investment background and major developments in investment theory. Then we will study asset pricing principles as the basis for stock and bond valuation. Fixed income securities will be learned in the last part of the class. This class will also offer virtual trading practices that prepare students for the stronger demand of such experience from the financial industries.
